It has been a long while since we've last had an update or news post and I feel the time has come to direct some attention to our recent accomplishments. First off, I would like to congratulate our friend Grimmel for helping to reopen Sunholm and bring it firmly back into the League. Having a Lawful Good settlement to balance out our little alliance will tie things together nicely; the higher level fighter and cleric training is nice too!

On that note I would also like to formally welcome Ragnar Tryggvy and Valhalla Foundries to the League. While they spent some time with us in Canis Castrum they have moved over to their knew home in Sunholm to help it grow and hopefully one day be among the first Paladins on the server!

And finally our last but certainly not least new company please welcome the Escalation Defense Corp., led by Zerr Dastir. Aside from helping with our local PvE content they also offer their services for coin to clean out escalations far and wide. They've already been of great help with the recent escalations and special events.

I would also like to add a general welcome to some of the new folks we've individually recruited over the past few weeks. I hope we turn out to be everything you ever dreamed!

For everyone else I would like to give a big thank you for your efforts. To date we have managed to keep our Auction House well stocked with T1 and T2 goods, including some items that are not as well supplied in other places. We've also managed to produce and place enough holdings (with the cooperation from our friends in Hope's End) to supply the entire League with bulk goods and sell off some extra! Our work is far from done as custom settlements will go live in EE11 but we have a very strong foundation to build upon.

Going forward I would like to see a steady increase in our internal capabilities and hopefully start to help our friends in Sunholm place more of their own holdings in preparation for EE11. Great things are afoot and despite our smaller stature (and Abadar willing) we are at the forefront! Keep up the good work!

On Thursday, March 5th at 2:30 AM EST, Aeonian League citizens from Canis Castrum and Hope’s End partnered with Pathfinder University to fight the Bonedancer escalation at its source. In response to the Emerald Lodge’s call to action, the rag-tag band of merchants, assassins, mages, and students fought the goblin necromancers for nearly five hours, stopping only to rest at their nearby Base Camp. In the end, they defeated the Bonedancer Warchief, returning to the respective settlements victorious.

The Lord Mayor’s Council raises our mugs to all of the League’s citizens that continue the fight the escalations around our settlement. Thank you for your service!

Grand Opening!

Canis Castrum's Auction House is open for business. Early Enrollment v4.1 allows players to post 7 day auctions at their local auction houses. Visiting players can find a wide selection of tier 1 weapons, armor, resources, and recipes. Tier 2 items are coming soon. You can stay informed of these offers in the Canis Castrum Bazaar thread on Goblinworks' new Trade & Commerce forum. The Bazaar is your one stop shop for all the best gear in the River Kingdoms!

Class is in Session

Our neighbor Riverbank launched Pathfinder University, an initiative to teach new players about Pathfinder Online. Thannon Forsworn (Canis Castrum) and Duffy (Hope's End) are teaching classes on crafting and small group combat next week. Check out the class schedule for more information. The Aeonian League has issued a statement of support. We encourage new players to take advantage of this program!

Thannon Forsworn has begun establishing trade routes with our partners in Early Enrollment. He is listing some of our goods at The Crusader Road Dispatch. Below is his post from the Paizo forums.

While we're doing a brisk trade at the settlement level we'd like to get our goods to everyone and unfortunately it's a bit time consuming for folks to run from auction house to auction house checking availability or cold call everyone who might be trading. Therefore we'll be listing our available trade goods and refining/crafting services on the Crusader Road Trading post. Save yourself the hassle and a trip by taking a look to see if we can perhaps provide something you need before you wander all over Golarion looking for it! We'll be updating regularly as additional goods and services become available.

I can be contacted for inquiry concerning availability, delivery/pickup, and prices/trade value via PM here, on the Crusader Road Trading Post, or via email at, and of course via whisper in game as 'Thannon Forsworn'.

You can contact Thannon Forsworn on our forums as well, where he maintains our active Crafter List.

The Lord Mayor's Council is proud to announce that Canis Castrum will be a dedicated Crafting Town during War of Towers. We invite foreign merchants to take advantage of our Auction House. We look forward to working with our fellow Aeonian League settlements, Sunholm and Hope's End, to offer class training to our citizens. Our Bazaar is coming soon!

Welcome to the Canis Castrum Caller! Our monthly update about all that is going on in our settlement, from our players to our companies to inter-settlement politics.

Reading Between the Lines Wins Hex P: After a rocky Week 5 of the Land Rush, when we were pushed into Hex T. We won and kept Hex P in Week 6. Our settlement is now next to our friendly neighbors in Sunholm!

Proud Member of The Aeonian League: Canis Castrum is a founding settlement in the open, multi-alignment treaty alliance The Aeonian League with our southern neighbor Hope's End. We invite our partners to take advantage of our Bazaar, meet with our friendly local crafters, and train at our facilities.

Welcome Carrion Corps!: Canis Castrum welcomes our first sponsored company, Carrion Corps. They are a casual True Neutral mercenary group interested in fort construction and finance. You can join their company forum and meet with their leader, Naile Trollard. We look forward to our future business arrangement!

We're in Alpha: Any of our fellow Alpha players can catch omnipotentseal and Ein Zelteil on the server on weekends. If you want to get together to form a party or hang out, PM us.
